My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Saison is a 2-year-old spayed female black lab. Saison weighs 77 pounds and is up to date on shots.

If there was a cuteness contest, Saison would snag first place! And yes, she is named after a beer because this girl loves to have a good time. She’s a sweet, friendly pup with pretty brown eyes and perky ears. She’s a little bit fancy and always fashionable in her white pearl necklace and matching white socks. Saison likes toys and loves to play, but sometimes gets mixed up with what she can chew on and what is off limits. She will need some training to help her figure these things out. Most of all, she needs a family that will give her the love, patience, and attention she deserves to grow into the well mannered labulous lady she was meant to be. Saison is good with dogs, unknown with cats and approved for kids 10 and up.

UPDATE: Saison has been in her foster home for over 2 weeks and has made HUGE progress with her general manners and obedience training. When she first came to her foster home she was very mouthy and jumpy because she wanted to play. After just one week of working with her, she no longer jumps on people or mouths people! She is a very fast learner! She has been spending her days going to doggie daycare with foster mom, and she absolutely loves it. Every morning she runs to the car and hops right in to go to daycare. She has a huge crush on one of the big boys at daycare, and is always so happy to see him. When she get home after daycare she takes a long nap on the couch. She is super snuggly and wants nothing more than to cuddle with her humans. If there is no room on the couch, she will happily flop into your lap. Tonight she got to go to get her own ice cream at the shop. She loved the ice cream, but loved snuggling with all of the strangers even more! Many people asked to pet her, and she went up to them, leaned against them and gave lots of kisses. Everybody loved her!

Saison is amazing in the car and slept the whole way to the beach last weekend. She was not interested in jumping off of the dock to get the tennis ball, so foster dad built her a ramp to get into the water. After watching the resident dogs use the ramp, she figured it out pretty quickly!
