Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Camelia!
This sweet sato was rescued back in March. Unbeknownst to her rescuers, Camelia had 3 newborn puppies out in the mountains, who were at the mercy of the elements, waiting for their momma to return and care for them. Camelia was extremely agitated while being examined by the vet, who was quite certain that she had given birth very recently. The team of rescuers wasted no time in taking her back to the mountains on a search and rescue mission, and she led them directly to her pups!
Well, several weeks have passed, and Camelia (at only 1 year old herself) has been a stellar mother to her puppies. She has worked long and hard to make sure that they thrived, and now it is time for her to relax and begin her life with a forever family of her own.
Camelia weighs about 20 lbs, is a bit shy, and will do best in a home with children 10 or older. She likes other dogs, and she walks well on a leash.
