Nellie is a funny, playful, smart, affectionate 5 year old girl. She has scars around her neck as if from early abuse, and she can be wary of new people. In foster, Nellie lives with a senior dog, and she has had successful play dates with a couple of adolescents and other friendly dogs. She needs an experienced adopter, and she will be a great best friend. On a recent hike, Nellie's foster mom came across a rattlesnake, and Nellie rushed to the rescue, getting bitten in the process. She's recovered and is so ready to find her forever home.
