My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

MEET OUR NEWEST LITTLE ANGEL. Angel is 10 years old and weighs an itty bitty 4 lbs. This little Angel is being fostered in Tallahassee, FL.

UPDATED BIO 04/29/2019: Angel was sadly surrendered by her owner because her owner had some serious health issues and could no longer care for Angel. She is doing well in her foster home. Angel saw the vet today and even though she had some skin issues and a UTI, she is in very good health for a little senior dog. Angel will be getting spayed and have a dental soon and should be ready for her forever home after she has had time to recover.

Angel’s perfect home would be with someone who is retired or works from home. This is what she has always had and she very much loves being with her person. Angel has always been the only dog in her home, and even though she has fur-siblings in her foster home, it’s very likely she may prefer to be the only animal in the home. She has never been around cats, so we don’t know how she would react sharing her home with kitty cats. Angel is playful and loves to play with her ball, but her most favorite thing to do is to be with her human.

Angel does have some guarding behavior that needs to be consistently monitored – she has had this behavior in her previous home and it needs to be reinforced to her that this is not appropriate. Her foster parents are working with her on this.

PLEASE NOTE: Due to Angel’s tiny size, she cannot be adopted into a home with children – no exceptions will be made.
