Some dogs get a home of their own, where they can grow into happy, secure companions. Sadly, Ruby wasn’t one of them. She has been in foster care most of her life and has never had a place where she could blossom into her true loving self.
Ruby is a sweet, quiet little girl. She weighs only 20 lbs and is about 5 ½ years old. Ruby is calm and affectionate but very shy and insecure. She will need time and TLC to help her become comfortable enough to let her loving nature come out. She is good with cats and other dogs and would be happy to share her home with a fur brother or sister.
She is working on crate and leash training. She’s house trained, too, but it’s important to remember that this little girl has never had a chance to relax and become a loved companion. Patience and gentle guidance will be needed to help her adapt to your home. She has been spayed, is up to date on all her vaccinations and is ready to go to her new home.
Although Ruby hasn’t known a true home, she’s very willing to give it a try. Inside that shy outer shell is a seed of love that just needs a safe, warm home to grow in. There’s a beautiful flower in there, just waiting to bloom!
The fee for adoption is $450. This includes spay/neuter, vaccinations and transport fees.
