Name: Charlie Best Guess for Breed: Terrier and Chihuahua blend
Best Guess for Age: 2-3 years Gender: Neutered male
Approximate Weight: 13-15 lbs., full grown
Gets Along With: other dogs, company and prefers adults
Currently Living at: LA area foster home
Special adoption considerations: Adults only (or older, gentle, teens ok). Homeowners with a secured yard in the greater So Cal area. We do home checks on all adoptions.
I’m Looking For: A family to add me and love me and hug me and be my forever! I can’t wait to go on lots of walks and trips to the beach or hiking and then come home and snuggle up at your feet. Oh! I'd love to take some doggie training classes and show you how super smart I am...whaddya say, are you ready to Add Me?! Add Charlie to your home! Well get to filling out that application already. I'm waiting.
What My Fosters Say About Me:
Charlie is super sweet, adaptive and is crate trained at night. He knows his name and is eager to please. He lives with other dogs, big and small and prefers playing with dogs his size so there is an even playfield (lol). Charlie is in tip top health according to our vet. Charlie is fed twice daily and is on a nutritional diet of grain-free, salmon/fish based, kibble and wet food with the occasional rotisserie shredded chicken used to reward good behavior. Charlie is on monthly Credelio flea and tick pills used as a preventative and prescribed by our vet. We use positive-based training and Charlie thrives with attention, redirection, patience and affirmative acknowledgement. Charlie is not a barker but will let you know if someone is at the door. He takes his job of “mini security guard,” seriously. He is a pleasure to have around and easy to love.
TO ADOPT: The adoption donation includes the cost of medical vetting, grooming, food, microchip, transport and a robust care package. Charlie recently had a vet visit to our vet and was given a clear bill of health too! If you are interested in adopting Charlie, please complete the Adoption Questionnaire online at: KenMarRescue.org
Ken-Mar Rescue does our best to provide accurate information about the dogs we have for adoption. That said, we cannot make any guarantees about age, breed or temperament.
