Meet Ruthie. She is a retired puppy mill breeder. She is 8 years old and her weight is about 10 pounds. She is still very shy, but starting to warm up. Ruthie is not familiar with being touched but tolerates her daily petting sessions. She really wants to trust people, but it will take time and patience.  In the right home, she will blossom into the wonderful dog she was meant to be.

She gets along well with her fur siblings, can manage a doggie door and is house trained. She loves sleeping inside and looks forward to meal time. 

She is currently being fostered in Chattanooga, TN.
