Mr. G.Q.!!!!

 

My name is Monk…aren’t I the cutest little thing you’ve ever seen!? I just got to my foster mom’s house last Thursday, and she says I am becoming the most lovable, shadow Maltese…I think she calls me her shadow because I follow her all around this house!  I only weigh 6.2lbs and am 8 years young.   

 

I guess you’re wondering how I got here.  My human momma has a very bad back and couldn’t take care of me anymore, and my human daddy got something they call dementia and he just wasn’t himself anymore…so momma loved us enough to let us go to this really nice foster momma’s house.  I love it here…but foster mom says one day I will be going to my furever home.  I am so excited.  In the meantime, foster momma is teaching me how to walk calmly on a leash, and sit for my treats - I just get so excited that I forget that’s what she wants me to do…but I’m trying hard.  She says I’ve come a long long way in just the 5 short days I’ve been here.

 

I love to snuggle in her lap and my foster dad’s lap…he’s really nice too.  I sleep with my foster momma, my yorkie sister, and my foster mom’s Maltese.  We all sleep alllll night long…it’s so warm and comfortable in her bed.  Sometimes I don’t want to get up in the morning, but it’s time for breakfast…. coming mom!! 

 

I’m going to the dogtor (vet) this coming Friday to get a second opinion on the dry eye condition I think I have. I have medicine for it, but a second opinion is always a good thing to have right? I know it’s right because my foster mom said so. Right before I came here I had my teeth cleaned…they are so pretty!! 

Do you think I could come and live with you…forever?
