Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Benji is just about the cutest, sweetest little guy in the whole world! He is full of personality and LOVES his family. He's a little timid with strangers, but warms up quickly. Benji's litter was unplanned, and the family surrendered four puppies to AZ Prussian Snailhound Dog Rescue. Mom was a small poodle/shih tzu mix, and dad is likely some type of terrier. Benji is 5 months old, and weight about 10 lbs. He will likely be around 16-18 lbs when full grown. Benji is a really good puppy and he is going to be a great dog! He is good with other dogs, cats and children. He does bond very strongly to people, and needs to go to a home where he isn't left alone most of the day. He does cry and bark when he is crated or left on his own, so he would not be a good candidate for an apartment. He also insists on sleeping with his family and being as close as possible for most of the time. He would be a great dog for a retired couple or a family where someone works from home. His adoption fee is $300 and that includes neuter, microchip, rabies and DAPP vaccinations. If you are interested in meeting Benji, please email Delon.Washo@asu.edu or text your email address to 602-295-4518 and let us know that you are interested in filling out an application on Benji.
AZ Prussian Snailhound Dog Rescue would like to remind everyone that puppies are a big commitment and require a lot of attention. Puppies often exhibit undesirable behaviors such as chewing and digging. Of course they also are a lot of fun and are very lovable too. When choosing a puppy please consider how much time you will be able to spend training and socializing your new puppy.
