If we could sum up Storm’s outlook on like in one sentence it would be ‘finding joy in small and ordinary things.’ Storm hasn’t always had it easy. As a matter of fact, the majority of her life has been quite a struggle. Storm was originally found bloody, injured, and in shock on the side of the road. She had been hit by a car and left for dead. Fortunately, a few good samaritans rushed to her aid. Though her prognosis seemed bleak, Storm never stopped fighting. Within a few months, Storm was up and playing and enjoying life. However, the hardships did not end there. In the midst of her healing she was diagnosed with glaucoma and we received the unfortunate news that her right eye had suffered complete vision loss. We were left with no other choice but to have her eye removed. Storm being the trooper that she is, easily and quickly adjusted to having one eye. That was Storm’s past, however, Let’s talk about her future! She is a beautiful all-white, 1 year old Siberian Husky. Storm loves everyone she meets, human and canine alike. She loves strolling the neighborhood and is always up for adventures! Storm knows how to sit for treats and is eager to learn more basic obedience manners…she is very smart! Storm is a typical husky in every way and would be best-suited in a home that has breed experience or is willing to do some homework. Huskies are gorgeous and SO much fun, and if you're up for the commitment, you'll absolutely love having Storm around. Training should be a big part of her life and his new home must give her adequate opportunities for mental stimulation and lots of exercise. Active people are encouraged to apply! Storms potential adopter must be committed to maintaining the health of her existing eye for the duration of her life. She requires daily eye drops and bi-monthly visits to the ophthalmologist.
