Need a companion who is up for just about anything? Rusty is like a 5 speed transmission-he can be calm and mellow (first gear) and then can quickly engage in a fast paced game of fetch (fifth gear). Rusty is quiet, mild mannered, intelligent, kind, calm, and sweet. His foster dad always knows what he wants has he is very expressive (not by barking). Rusty enjoys treats, toys, and playing fetch. Rusty is a one-of-a-kind amazing dog. He has brought a lot of comfort and joy to his foster family. Rusty gets along with other dogs and would make an excellent companion for any type of family.

Funny thing he does: Rusty is so kind that he lets his canine foster siblings play with the new toys first. Then he comes in and plays with whatever scraps are left and has a blast with the pieces.

Most endearing qualities: Rusty’s gentle soul is what captures everyone’s heart as soon as they meet this wonderful boy.
