Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Description of pet
Hello. My name is Liam. I am approximately 2 years old. I weigh around 65 pounds. I should definitely pack on a few more pounds and am trying to do that now that I'm here at the rescue. I am a weimaraner or a mix, due to my darker coat and longer tail. None of that matters really. What's most important is that I'm a handsome guy with quite a personality! I am a bit on the wild side, so I'm told. I am excitable and jump often. I have learned that is not a good habit, so I will need help in learning NOT to jump on you! I am also working on my leash manners. I am young and still have puppy behavior, but I'm not a small, puppy any more! Please understand I will take patience and work. I need your help to be all I can be. Even though I act like a total goof ball, I am smart and can learn if you are willing and able to give me the time and work I need. I have a few dog friends here, all females so far, as I haven't met any males up close and personal. I will bark when I want attention and I do alert bark. I am not a chewer or digger. I like to play with toys and play catch. I have not yet met Ned, the resident cat. I will probably not be best for a home with small children, as I might knock one over accidentally, so older children please! I am a very friendly, loving dog. I DO enjoy being loved on and pet. I am learning about respecting personal space. They say I'm too big to be a lap dog, but I still try! I will enjoy active time! Running, hikes, etc. What do you say? Let's meet!
