My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello. Please call me Chub. yes, I am a BIT portly but I was truthfully names after a small fish! YES I know. Odd, isn't it? So I came about being here because I was found as a stray along with my pal Dab. Not sure why our previous owner was not looking for us or disposed of us because we are both quite nice! Now I am an older gentleman but not yet a senior. The vet feels I am approx. 6 to 8 years of age. I weigh approx. 35lbs. I am a quiet, gentle dog. I am a cuddler. Yes, i am a beagle and i like to cuddle. Contrary to what some folks believe, that a hunt dog breed is no good as a family pet! How very silly is that? I like my walks and I do well no car rides. I am good with some other dogs. I have yet to meet Ned, the rescue cat not have I been around small children. I would have to get back to you on this. I can promise you love and cuddles on these cold winter nights to come. So I do hope to hear from you very soon!
