Here's what the humans have to say about me:
JO is a 2-year-old neutered male black lab. Jo weighs 65 pounds and is up to date on shots. This dog is approved for homes with children ages 10 and up.
DESCRIPTION From his transporters: Jo is just the sweetest thing. He was a bit shy going into the Vets office. Considering he's been thru, I'm certain it comes from his not really knowing what is going on. He hopped right in the car - in the seat and curled up. There were 2 other pups traveling with him that were in crates and he did not mind them at all. He curled up and fell asleep. Apparently he has THE CUTEST snore ever! He is good with other dogs.
Update: Jo spent his first weekend with his fosters and, boy, has he transformed quickly! Jo is such a sweet, friendly dog. He loves to cuddle, has become best buds with our crazy 2-year-old resident dog. Jo has shown that he loves to run and play in the yard, play tug of war and chew on Nylabones. He also seems content to be a couch potato. Jo is great on a leash, doesn't pull, and is friendly with other dogs encountered on walks. Most importantly, he's gentle with our little 10-pound yorkie. He does seem quite interested in squirrels, wanting to chase them, so not sure how he'd be with cats quite yet. We will update once he is introduced to his foster's dog-savvy cat. He sleeps through the night and has not had to be crated yet. He's hesitant to take treats from hand, but we're working on that. He wouldn't get on the sofa until he was picked up to cuddle, and now he's comfortable climbing up himself. No barking or inside accidents. More to come as we learn more about this sweet guy!
