Welcome, Leisel to the Royal Canadian Pooch Rescue Family! :)

I’m a young girl with a sweet and goofy personality. My foster mom can’t believe I’m still up for adoption because she thinks I’m the best dog ever!

I’m 100% house trained and crate trained. I’m a small Shepherd mix, only 40lbs so I don’t take up any space at all. Medium energy, I love my daily exercise but I’ll happily curl up in my dog bed or on the couch with you to watch tv at the end of the day.

When I first arrived in foster care, I warmed up quickly to the other dog in the house. I really appreciate dogs who are respectful of my space but I do love to play and run around in the yard or go for walks with my foster brother. I don’t have any problems sharing my food or toys with anyone but I am food motivated if want to teach me some new tricks and I’ve learned to be gentle when taking treats.

Did I mention that I’m good with cats too?

I’m so gentle and loving. My foster mom thinks I would do best in a home with an active family or couple as I have so much love and hugs to share. I walk beautifully on leash and my foster mom has even taught me to heel so I’m a real pleasure to take for walks and hikes. I love trips to the pet store, local coffee shops and even get to go to work sometimes. Every day is a new adventure!
