Thank you for looking at our available dogs. Please check all your inboxes for emails in regards to the pet. Meet pistol. Neutered male maltese. Estimated to be around the age of 5. He is sweet and mild mannered from what we have learned. He has some special needs that will be a medical expense to be considered before adopting him. He HAS heartworm disease and is currently on Advantage multi to prevent futher infestation. Please go to heartwormsociety.org to look at the disease. It is curable as well but that cost will be on the adopter. He also has KCS ( aks dry eye ) and this requires a medicated eye ointment ( by a licensed vet ). He likes to be held and pet. He will growl for baths , grooming and just general petting. He not offered to bite but that being said he will need an experienced adopter and someone willing to take on the medical issues he has. The pictures that have been included were taken after he had to have hair removed due to the large amounts of mats that he had. He was abandoned in the back yard of a foreclosed home covered in fleas, ticks and dirt. Please consider this little guy to be your new fur baby.
