My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Captain Willie was rescued from Moreno Valley Shelter after he was picked up as a stray. He had a fox tail in his eye which caused extreme damage to his eyeball so he had to have it removed. We have no idea how long he was a stray for or how long he went without human interaction. He is good around other dogs and is learning to trust people. It may take him time to open up and become the confident pup we know he is! He is looking for a home with a patient owner who will take their time in letting him decompress and eventually thrive!
