My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Leia walked up to our front door in November 2018.
What are the odds she would walk up to the front door of an animal rescue.
She was so small - so sick. It took us months to heal her up and get her ready for adoption.
She's now a healthy adult black female cat.

She's spayed, chipped, utd.

Leia is not an in your face cat she's more of a dainty quiet companion who will be there, sitting in a chair near you as sweet as could be. She likes pets and attention but doesn't love love either - she will let you hold her and she tolerates it but she'd prefer just to be near you sharing your air enjoying your company.

She'd do well in a smaller quieter space - an apartment or a condo - she doesn't need a big house to roam or a kingdom to rule. She just needs a simple life and a best friend human to be near.

She will be fine with kids, she's been kind of a snot to one of our dogs but does ok with the others so dogs would be case by case basis. She's done fine with our our other cats tho she wouldn't mind being the only cat either.

She sits guard over our 20 year old sr. hospice cat - she snuggles with our long hair Siamese cat sometimes... She's such a gentle soul. She's special to us here because of how sick she was - and she chose us to heal her and find her a loving home.

She LOVES wet food. You crack a can and she comes RUNNING.
