SMIDGE! Where do we start? This girl is just an amazing dog in every way. Besides being absolutely adorable, her charming personality unquestionably wins the hearts of everyone who meets her. She is one of the happiest and most well-adjusted dogs you will ever come across. She gets along fantastically with everyone she encounters, whether it be with two legs or four. It is so much fun watching her play with all her doggy friends, but seeing her with feline ones is priceless. SMIDGE is that even-tempered, take with you kind of dog that most of us can only dream of having. She is fabulous in the car and in new situations, so much so that her foster mom is able to take her everywhere with her. She is always up for any new adventure and would make a perfect hiking or running partner. That being said, she is also perfectly content lounging around the house or snuggling in bed with her foster family all day long. SMIDGE knows to potty outside and is good in her crate when no one is home. SMIDGE thrives in the company of other dogs and we feel she would do best in a home where she has another doggy friend. This wonderful girl will steal your heart and shower you with love everyday. Her forever family is going to be happy beyond belief.

SMIDGE is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on all vaccinations including 2 rounds of both the H3N2 and H3N8 canine influenza vaccinations.
Her $490 adoption fee includes her interstate health certificate and the cost of her transport to the New England area once she is officially adopted.

All of our dogs start their journey in Memphis, Tennessee and remain in the homes of loving foster families until they are adopted. Some pups stay local in Memphis. Many others travel to Nashville, Knoxville, or New England via Alpha Dog Pet Transport (https://alphadogtransport.com).
Breed selection is done in conjunction with two local vets and is not to be considered a guarantee but rather a well-educated decision from well qualified staff.
Due to the extremely high volume of inquiries we receive, we ask that you request, complete, and submit an application before asking additional questions. We try very hard to include all pertinent information in our bios. We are excited to help you find your new family member. However, Woof River is 100% volunteer operated. We want to spend our time saving dogs and assisting those adopters who have taken the time to complete an application. Thank you for understanding.
