Here's what the humans have to say about me:
She has until May 12th to find a home :(
Bambi is a 1 yr old cattle dog mix and as pretty as can be! Her lemon spotted coat is simply gorgeous and she has a face that's mesmerizing. We actually think she's a Queensland Heeler mix, but the breed wasn't an option on here. She's an easy going sweetheart who will play tug of war with you until someone gives up. And, she loves her pool, toys and playing hide and seek with treats. She hasn't met a carrot she doesn't like! Bambi would do fantastic with an outdoors enthusiast, athlete or hiker!
Bambi will wait at the door until you give the command to go, and she'll hold at a spot for awhile. She's crate trained and with the phrase "in you go" she'll retire to her kennel. She lives indoors and likes to watch over the busy kitchen, keeping you company. She prefers to share the sofa with you and is looking to join your family. She likes going on walks, and will be cautiously curious around other dogs.
We'd prefer Bambi be the only princess of her palace, or with bigger dogs, as she wasn't able to integrate with the current owners tiny elder dog. She's high energy, intelligent and loyal, so an active owner would be ideal. If you have experience with dogs, Bambi's eager to please, so training should be a snap. She weighs about 60 pounds, is house trained, up to date on vaccines, spayed, microchipped and rides in the car with ease.
If you'd like to visit her, please request an adoption application! Or if you're interested in fostering, please reach out to us, as she needs to be placed asap.
She's being fostered in the Rosemont area, of Sacramento California.
