Hello, Iʼm Clifford. I may not be Clifford, the Big Red Dog, but I am Clifford, the most affectionate beagle boy youʼll ever meet. Iʼve been here in rescue for a while now. I have to say that being in rescue has been such a relief. I donʼt want to make you sad so I wonʼt be sharing what Iʼve been through in my short life but itʼs nice to be loved. However, my current home is just a temporary one and I am looking forward to having a place of my own.

I think Iʼve mentioned that I am very affectionate, right? There is nothing I love more than curling up next to you. I think I am highly evolved to have my needs meant. I say this because I have the softest fur and it makes people want to pet me more. I will never turn down a good pet. If you try to resist me, I will put my head in your lap and give you my best beagle eyes.

I am probably what you might call and old soul but I am still a young beagle. I love to cause beagle mischief in the backyard and chase new scents. I love my walks and I love to chew on bones. While I am not opposed to being the only spoiled canine in my new home, I will need plenty of activity if I am the only dog.
