Romeo is a new pup just into rescue, nine and a half pounds of roly-poly puppy energy. This little guy was surrendered by his owners who stated that they had too many dogs. He is understandably confused about his life being turned upside down, but his tail still works great, and he's a snuggly little bug.

Romeo needs a new family that includes someone who is home most of the time, understands the plentiful energy puppies have, and willing to go through all the usual training -- housebreaking, walking on a leash, obedience. He is doing well with the other dogs in foster care and has a calm attitude toward cats.

A lot of potential packed into a still small package, Romeo is sure to bring a special joy to his new family. Previous puppy experience a big plus; another playful dog in the family would be great.

Minimum requirements:
-- A household member at home most of the time
-- Securely fenced yard
-- Willing to attend basic puppy obedience class
-- Unlimited patience
