Meet our sweet Sachi! Sachi is an 8-10 year old, cream colored, 17.5 pound Terrier mix. Our groomer says she looks like she has some Chinese Crested, she does have those adorable pointed ears! Her loving gazes will melt your heart. She is a senior lady needs a calm and quiet home. She is used to living with other dogs so a home with a canine companion is needed. She came to AFC from a hoarding situation, where she was living with 24 other dogs. She needs some patience while she learns how to become a pampered pooch. She walks okay on a leash and will get better with practice. She gets excited in the car and wants to sit in your lap. She will require regular professional grooming. Her legs were pretty matted so were shaved but it is starting to even out so her next grooming should look great. Give her a little time to get to know you and she will let her silly personality shine. She will dance and prance with joy when she is happy to see you. Will you give this sweet girl a chance? 1. When you apply please always use the same email address. If we need to look something up later and you used a different email we are often not able to find it.
2. Adopt a Pet and Petfinders ask you to send us an enquiry. This always delays our response. (Why)
a. Our biographies are always very detailed. Therefore sending an enquiry asking us to repeat what it says in the biography causes a lot more work and delays our response.
b. We are a small non-profit and do not always have the help to answer as many enquiries as we get.
c. Again our Biographies are very detailed and if you just click the link near the bottom of their bio you can fill out an application which we will respond to.
