My story

Maverick is a very young dog who is in his prime for training and learning the facts of life. Being that he is a CBR with lots of drive and energy he would do best with a family who understands high drive dogs, specifically Chesapeake’s. We are still evaluating Maverick and it does appear someone in his past spent many hours training the dog. He does recognize commands and is very quick to react. Maverick will need a home where he can be worked everyday, he needs a job to burn off the energy. If you are serious about high drive dogs Maverick will test your training skills.* Please visit our main web site at www.cbrrescue.org to read about our adoption process and to fill out an online adoption application. We have a home visit requirement and charge an adoption fee ($150-$400 depending on the dog). All of our Available Dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated (rabies, DHLPP, and bordetella), heartworm-tested, microchipped, and tested/treated for intestinal worms. Thank you for your interest!
