Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Ruth is a four year old female who weighs 70 lbs.(she's a little thin at that weight), reddish brown in color with silver (not gray!) around her mouth and above her eyes; her chest and paws are buy ciprospeckled also. She is very friendly, gets along great with other dogs, and likes to ride in the car. She has lived obviously lived indoors before, knows how to use a dog door and is housebroken. When she hears a doorbell, even on TV, she runs to the front door. She’s not “hand shy” and is not protective of her food. She has a very gentle mouth when she’s hand fed, even for high value treats. Ruth sleeps in the bedroom; she picked up the bedtime routine very quickly and sleeps through the night. She woke us once to let her out; she sniffed the hand closest to the edge of the bed until I woke up. During the day she’ll sleep at your feet or on your feet, but she doesn’t get up onto furniture or the bed. She doesn’t chew things that aren’t her toys and she doesn’t steal things off the kitchen counter. She’s friendly with everyone in the household but she really connects with one person. She’ll awaken just to follow that person into another room. She’ll retrieve in the pool for hours if you let her. If you won’t throw something for her she’ll swim figure 8’s or push a big ball around the pool. Please visit our main web site at www.cbrrescue.org to read about our adoption process and to fill out an online adoption application. We have a home visit requirement and charge an adoption fee ($150-$350 depending on the dog). All of our Available Dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated (rabies, DHLPP, and bordetella), heartworm-tested, microchipped, and tested/treated for intestinal worms. Thank you for your interest!
