My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Bramall is a Chesapeake Bay Retriever / Golden Retriever Mix. His head says chessie to us, it's so big and broad. The hair on his body is long and straight like a golden, but is a curlier on his hind quarters, as you can see from the pictures. The shelter extended his time because they liked him so much. He is named after one of his foster dad's favorite guitarists - Doyle Bramhall II. We think Bramhall is around 5 years old. He is kind and very affectionate. Foster Home Update: He's a GEM. He's potty trained, knows 'sit, wait, ok' when walking, doesn't pull on the leash, is not barker, isn't really food driven - although he does like buddy bisquits and other treats--good training treats. He sleeps/rests quietly when someone's next to him on the rug -- probably feels better knowing no one's leaving him, and he's safe. He doesn't jump, wags his tail to meet new people, seems to love everyone - no problems with a small girl and baby we met briefly yesterday. He doesn't freak out with cats, although the one in our house was a little startled when she saw our new guest. He seemed more interested than anything else - didn't growl, ears were still forward - he just kind of stood really still to take it all in. He is not always keen on other male dogs so a new owner will need to be alert. So far everyone who's met him LOVES him. The people at South Bark dog wash totally loved him - were really impressed with his bath etiquette. He let us rub his paws, spray him with the sprayer...he just stood there and rested his head on the side of the tub. He had no problems when we put a towel on him to dry, didn't react or seem to mind having a towel on his head, either! We are pretty sure he's just a nugget who was someone's loved pet at one time, and would make a GREAT pet for someone who loves big, slightly drooly when they drink a gallon of water, dogs. order viagra No outdoor-only homes, please.
