Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Kira is a beautiful reddish deadgrass spayed female Chessie who just turned 3 on 11/22. She is purebred but not AKC registered. She is happy and friendly, and although she is young, she is calm. She loves to snuggle! What she loves best is just hanging out with you, though she has no separation anxiety when left alone. Kira has full house privileges at her foster home and is completely housebroken, and has never chewed anything that wasn't doxycycline onlinegiven to her for that purpose. She loves being an indoor dog and will not be considered for an outdoor-only home. She sleeps quietly in her crate at night (though she'd love to come up on the bed with you!) Kira is a bit timid in new situations and will respond with avoidance (*not* aggressive) behavior. She was something of a sensitive and cautious girl when she first came into rescue in August, but as expected has blossomed into a wonderful dog - once she warms up to a new person or situation, she becomes much more confident. She stays with us at the off-leash regional park, and 5-6 miles a day of jogging and walking has whipped her into excellent physical shape. She has not been around small children and is a bit fearful of them, and given her size (90 lbs.), should probably go to a home with older children only. She would do well in a home with another dog, especially a male; she may not do well with another female of similar size and age, as after three months she began to butt heads with the resident Alpha 4 year old female Chessie in her foster home. She loves to ride in the car and run errands, and sits patiently waiting for your return. Foster location: Richmond, CA (SF Bay Area). Please contact Terry Roy at (510) 236-9628 or TerrySC2@aol.com to meet Kira! Also please visit our web site at www.cbrrescue.org to read about the adoption process and fill out an online adoption application.
