Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
'Jessie' (now going by the name Porter), a pretty 7 year old Chocolate Lab/Chessie girl, came into rescue after her owners moved away and left her behind. She adores people (a little shy for the first 30 seconds!) and loves to play ball. She is pretty mellow, a great dog for a family with older kids. She has had training and is crate and kennel trained. She knows sit, down, come, and heel. She walks very nicely by your side without pulling and generally just wants to be your friend. She walks and jogs a couple of miles a day with her foster dad. She was underweight and had some skin problems when she came into rescue, but is doing much, much better now. She has been fostered in Davis, CA since mid-April and is doing well with the resident female Water Spaniel there. She tends to want to chase cats, but responds to 'leave it' commands. Please see her listing at Chesapeake Bay Retriever Relief & Rescue's web site www.cbrrescue.org (Available Dog #439) and if you are interested, fill out the online adoption application. For more information, please contact her foster dad John at (530) 753-2970 or Terry Roy of CBRR&R at (510) 236-9628 (TerrySC2@aol.com).
