Jara is a sweet little girl, she’s playful, loves sharing affection and all of the regular cute puppy stuff like attacking your foot, barking at you to go and fetch your own dang ball, but in between all of that, she’s busy checking out every sound, every creak, every thing and everyone. I’m not saying that Jara is any kind of a watch dog or anything like that, but she is vigilant and she’ll probably let you know if there’s a squirrel digging in your flower bed. But seriously folks... she’s a sweetie pie and will warm your hearts and home the very moment that you meet. No Borders Animal Rescue Society (NOBARS)

We are a registered non profit society. All our dogs are vaccinated, sterilized and are fostered in homes with families.

NOBARS believes that a dog is best assessed for a new home environment by living in one!!!! Therefore we do not use kennels, but have a network of approved foster homes where our dogs can be properly assessed before being offered for rehoming. Our foster homes offer a varied range of experiences which means we can choose an appropriate foster home for each dog, but it also means our dogs are able to experience situations which are invaluable to owners looking to take on a new forever friend, such as children, cats and other dogs.
