My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Welcome Bear. He is a 2- year-old Dorkie (Dachshund/Yorkie mix) He has the adorable hair of the Yorkie and the longer length body of the Dachshund. They are working on their potty manners and will hold in the crate. They are in a home with lots of other dogs and we recently neutered them. They do some business outside and on a potty pad but still make the mistake or two. The new adopter will need to be willing to finish the training. We recommend a belly band to help in training. They are lower shedding dogs and you could get grooming if you wanted a little more of a shape to their coat. They are good with other dogs and in a foster home with cats and are fine with all. They were picked off Craig’s list in our local area. Our foster mom knew they may not get a good home on CL so she picked them up and notified CCPAL. We will be looking for their new forever home. They are currently in Texas and can be adopted locally or transported to the East Coast, the West Coast, Minneapolis or Illinois. Adoption fee is 300 and transport is 185. They are not nippy and are nice outgoing dogs. They would be good with other dogs or can go as an only dog. They have been recently neutered and are up on all their shots and ready for placement.
