Hello friends! My name is Finnegan and I am ready as ever to find my forever family. My previous owners were moving and unable to take me with, for that I am super bummed... BUT! I spent some time in a foster with an awesome friend who helped me keep up on my manners. I am ALL puppy! I am an active pooch. I love to play, roll around in the grass, splash in the water, explore anything that comes my way, and just love on my people. Yes, I am a leaner and a hugger. I am so incredibly sweet and the biggest loveable lug around! I am a super smart dude, love to please, super outgoing, and a belly rub lover. I know sit, down, come, and I am working on relaxing on a mat and my leash manners. For my future home, I will need a dog experienced household and a home with no cats or other dogs please. More socializing and training is a must for me before making new dog friends! Let`s become the best of buds :)
My adoption includes a consultation, training, and help transitioning me (Finny) to my new home with a certified professional trainer!

CHS accepts multiple applications on each animal, we are not first come first serve. Our team of adoption counselors will help matchmake every individual pet and family to ensure the best fit for all.
Must be 21 to adopt with a valid driver's license or state ID card.
We ask all members of the household to meet the new pet, some pets require multiple visits to build necessary relationships.
To align with our mission of solving the homeless pet crisis, all household pets must be spayed and neutered, up to date on necessary vaccinations, and live in the same household as the adopter. If not currently established with a veterinarian, a vet deposit will be required.
Cats and dogs adopted from CHS are indoor only.
Every pet is an individual, and many have individual needs such as : post adoption training (included with adoption), multiple meet and greets to feel comfortable, medical needs, etc. Our adoption counselors will communicate these needs with all interested families.
CHS will not begin adoption process with an individual when:
A person is reasonably believed to be under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
Landlord or residence does not allow pets, or the living situation does not accommodate consistency for the pet (e.g. student housing, four unrelated adults living together, ect.)
Applications may be denied for any reason, including but not limited to an individual failing to comply with conditions of past adoption.
Dog Adoptions: $200
Cat Adoptions: $100
