Here's what the humans have to say about me:
HERSHEY is a 6-year-old neutered male black lab. Hershey weighs 80 pounds, needs to lose about 10 and is up to date on shots. This dog is approved for homes with children ages 7 and up.
DESCRIPTION Hershey is a bit shy when he first meets you, as long as you go slow he is fine. He loves to get his chest scratched and get petted. Hershey use to follow the son and play ball with him. He likes to be in the same room you are just to make sure you don't disappear. He is a little nervous around new things but after he figures them out he is fine. Hershey would love family that will give him attention, love and has a yard that he can play in. Hershey just went to his foster and is settling in nicely with them and their two pups. He has found the toy box and is having a ball playing with them. Good with other dogs. Knows sit, go get your ball, shake, come, stay or wait. Pulls on lead a little when walking better with an Easy Walk Harness. Crate and house trained, had run of the house. Likes to sleep in his crate, never closed the door. He was nervous at the vets but no problem if they go slow and talk to him. Hershey was an owner give up due to her moving and she couldn't take him with her.
Update: Hershey loves, loves, loves his toys! He makes you laugh as he is playing with his toys, tossing them in the air. Hershey is a wonderful house guest: he is house-trained, does not get up on furniture and does not have to be crated.
