If you are interested in GRIFFIN or in adopting a pup in general, the first step is an adoption application. Download an adoption application

Please email the completed application to chanda.woofriver@gmail.com
Please submit an application rather than an inquiry with no application attached.
GRIFFIN is a smart, beautiful and wonderful soul. He has yet to meet a dog or human he doesn’t get along with. He even likes kitties! He is the largest dog in his foster home, but he isn’t the boss and is okay with it. This big boy absolutely loves to play with his toys and can entertain himself for hours on end. Soccer balls are by far his favorite, followed by any other kind of ball or toy that squeaks. As much as GRIFFIN enjoys playtime, he loves human cuddle time as much or more. He will curl up with you in the bed or on the couch and snuggle all day long. He is basically a giant lap dog.
Gorgeous GRIFFIN is potty trained, crate trained, and only chews on his toys. He is great in the car and would make an ideal travelling companion. He is also known to hit the patio for a little happy hour when the weather is nice. GRIFFIN is full of wisdom but can be goofy at the same time. His soulful eyes and adorable face can make even your worst day happy. He will bring so much light and warmth into his lucky forever family's life.
We require relevant breed experience in order to adopt GRIFFIN or any similar type dog. We also prefer that GRIFFIN goes to a forever home with at least one other resident canine!

GRIFFIN is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on all vaccinations including 2 rounds of both the H3N2 and H3N8 canine influenza vaccinations.
His $490 adoption fee includes his interstate health certificate and the cost of transport to the New England area after he is officially adopted.

All of our dogs start their journey in Memphis, Tennessee where they remain in loving foster families until they are adopted. Once adopted, some pups stay local in Memphis. Many others travel via one of our transport partners to their new forever homes. We use Alpha Dog Pet Transport for our New England, Nashville, and Knoxville adoptions (https://alphadogtransport.com) and our own private transport for our Midwest adopters (https://www.facebook.com/roadhomepettransport).
Breed selection is done in conjunction with two local vets and is not to be considered a guarantee but rather a well-educated decision from well qualified staff.
Due to the extremely high volume of inquiries we receive, we ask that you request, complete, and submit an application before asking additional questions. We try very hard to include all pertinent information in our bios. We are excited to help you find your new family member. However, Woof River is 100% volunteer operated. We want to spend our time saving dogs and assisting those adopters who have taken the time to complete an application. Thank you for understanding.
