Gatsby is a gorgeous guy that wants his new family to know these 10 things about him:

1. I am about 2 years old and I am a formentino Cane Corso.

2. Like many dogs of my breed, I can be wary of strangers, and I need to be introduced to new people and visitors slowly. Once I feel comfortable, though, I’m a total lovebug!

3. I think a home with kids older than 10 would be a good fit, as long as the children had experience and training with giant breed dogs.

4. I’m not sure how I feel about felines, but I might be able to cohabitate with kitties after a slow and proper introduction.

5. I have been friendly with the other dogs I have met at the Bullpen, and I would like to find a home that had a large female dog that I could play with.

6. I am an extremely sweet and playful boy that’s eager to please. I already know basic commands, and I think I could learn a few new tricks if my new family wanted to teach me some.

7. I enjoying being around people, and playing and exploring outside. I really love to play with toys, and I am excellent at fetch!

8. I am housebroken and I know how to use a doggy door. I am good on a leash, but sometimes I think that the leash is a toy and I try to play tug-of-war.

9. I am current on vaccinations, microchipped, and neutered.

10. I’ve started heartworm treatment, and will come with all the medicine needed to complete it at my new home.
