Here's what the humans have to say about me:
These two cuties are in need of a very special & loving furever home!!! Lucy & Squish came into rescue when their owner of almost 8 years passed away. They are a bonded pair that need to be kept together & we are searching for the very best home for them! Both are spayed/neutered, vaccinated & microchipped. At about 8 years of age & approximately 20lbs each, they both are still young pups at heart. Lucy has been on a round of Cyclosporin for her eye & has recently finished that but may need it in the future (pug owners know all about eyes!) & she would benefit from a daily lubricant in her eyes to keep them moist. Lucy is also vision impaired, how much we aren't quite certain but we know that her depth perception is off. She has lived with her brother Squish for her entire life & depends upon him for love & comfort. It's important to note that they should be fed separate as Lucy will gobble up all of Squish's food & Squish will have nothing left for himself. Squish loves to run & play in the yard with his foster siblings (he thinks he is a big dog!) & Lucy prefers to be coddled & held by her foster mom & at night will nest with her brother Squish. Lucy has shown that she will pick on senior dogs with disabilities in her foster home so we are searching for a furever home that has maybe only one dog or no dogs or maybe two dogs if the potential adopting family is VERY dog savvy & experienced with brachycephalic breeds. Neither Lucy nor Squish can do stairs so all stairs in a potential adopting home should have a baby gate at them to protect both of them. Adoption fee for these bonded cuties is $450 & we require an adoption application submitted on our website, reference checks - personal & veterinarian as well as a phone interview by the foster mom & a home visit performed by one of our volunteers. If you have specific questions that can not be answered on our website - www.greenfurkidz.com, please email meli@greenfurkidz.com. Thank you!
