Meet Vivian! This dainty, feminine girl was born around November 2017.
She was very skinny and shy when came into rescue. She had a fractured pelvis and one little baby puppy who has since been adopted. In our care, Vivian’s has personality blossomed and she reached a healthy weight around 75 pounds.
Vivi loves people and she is very laid back with them. She is great with kids. She prefers calm surroundings, so she hopes for a family that is not too loud or rowdy.
She prefers scratches on her shoulders or sides. She leans into you and kicks her back leg if you find her scratchy spot!
She likes playing with other dogs, and she will probably fare better if she has a forever doggy companion. She is sometimes aloof and entertains herself, so it’s possible that she could be an only dog if she has constant human company.
Viv loves cats! She plays gently with them and cuddles with them!
This sweetheart is house trained, leash trained, crate trained, and rides nicely in a car.
One of the rare times she diverts from her normally reserved demeanor is when she barks for the sheer joy it! It’s like she’s telling the birds and planes that they’d better not get any closer, or else!
