Girly is a sweet 6 - 7 year old girl who was rescued from a reservation in South Dakota. She has been fending for herself for a long time now and she longs to be a family member. All Girly wants is to be loved and cared for and in return she will give you complete love and loyalty. The vet thought she is a Shepherd/Husky mix and she looks like a little polar bear. Girly is in a foster home and she is proving to be the most gracious dog and a wonderful, behavior-free, house guest. She is great with other dogs but not so sure about the cat. We would love for her to go to family with a secure yard but mostly we think she just wants someone who will have plenty of time to spend with her Girly enjoys her time in the home with people as her energy is very mellow and easy going. She also enjoys spending time in the yard especially if she can be by your side. She rides great in the car, walks on a leash without pulling, doesn't over react to other dogs, is house trained and sweet to everyone she comes in contact with.
