RUCKUS IS BEING FOSTERED IN DURHAM, NC. YOU MUST BE WILLING TO DRIVE HERE FOR PICKUP AT ADOPTION TIME. WE DO NOT HOLD ANIMALS UNTIL YOU'RE READY DUE TO OTHER OBLIGATIONS, AND WE DO NOT SHIP ANIMALS, NO EXCEPTIONS.

RUCKUS is a male pure bred Bichon Frise. He is 12 yrs old, heartworm negative, has been dewormed, neutered, senior blood work that is GREAT, had a dental recently, a urinalysis to be sure of no issues & microchipped. This dog is in perfect health and still has plenty of energy to play and romp around.

He rides well in the car, is not destructive in the house and loves to play outdoors in a fenced yard, still enjoys when we go walking with a leash. He is great with small kids (our grandson is 4 1/2), good with other dogs as well. He is about 14-15 lbs.

Ruckus lost his human Mom and needs a forever home to call his own. He is house/crate trained, although we only leave the crate for his own coming/going, it's never closed. He never gets on the furniture, apparently was never allowed before. He isn't much of a barker at all. Ruckus is very laid back and will come to the room you're in to check on you. You don't even know he's in the house, he is so quiet, but a great companion. Due to his age, we think he would benefit with a family perhaps which is retired or home a lot.
