My story

Meet Dolly! This 6 year old, 11 pound female Pomeranian/Chihuahua mix is ready to meet you,too.

Dolly is the sweetest ever companion. She doesn't ask for much and when she does want something, she's very polite about it. She is a quiet girl and rarely barks.

What Dolly really wants is someone to spend time with her. You know, rub her belly, hug and kiss her, let her sleep in the big bed and take a slow walk around the block with her with plenty of time for sniffin' stuff. She also enjoys quick romps in a fenced yard and lolling about in the sun with her humans when it's nice out. Would that someone be you?

Dolly arrived in rescue when her owner's health declined. At first, she was a 'nervous Nellie', startling at everyday household noises but she quickly adjusted to the normal sounds in her foster home but will still startle at the unexpected. She can be uneasy on car rides or during vet visits. She dislikes nail trims and will fare best when this is done by the vet or a patient groomer.

Dolly is an equal opportunity companion, meaning that she enjoys the company of everyone - men, women and respectful children who won't scare her as well as other dogs. She is non reactive to cats.

Dolly is almost completely housetrained and will use a potty pad if you can't get her outside. She enjoys treats but needs to be reminded to take them gently.

Dolly is spayed, up to date on all shots, heartworm negative, on heartworm/flea preventive, is microchipped and has had a dental cleaning. Her adoption fee is $275 with all vet work done.
