My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

When we first rescued Marcus, (the day he was going to be euthanized) he had numerous puncture wounds believed to be from a pellet gun and/or dog bites, apparent chemical burns, cuts and tears, and malnourished at 20 lbs underweight. Yet even after all that, he is SO sweet to humans.

We were asked to help Marcus because the folks at the shelter saw that this sweet guy did not deserve to be put down!! Now Marcus is in a foster home where he is able to be a normal dog, he is able to have frequent training and lots of love, attention, and exercise- which is what every happy dog needs! Marcus is about 3 years old, and now weighs about 55 lbs.

Marcus is extremely affectionate and eager to please people. He definitely will need to be in a home with a fenced in back yard. Marcus loves to be outside and roll in the grass, and he gets very excited about squeaky toys! Marcus needs to be the only dog in the home.
