My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Ivy! Ivy is new to us, so we are getting to know her, but she has settled in quickly and is going to be a great girl. Ivy is great on the leash and loves everyone she meets. She loves to explore and play in the yard. She has been doing great with other low-energy dogs and we think with proper introductions she will be a great addition to a home with other dogs.

We cannot confirm that dogs who come from the shelter will be house trained.

Most adoptable dogs will need some reintroduction into a home, potty training, basic manners and social skills.

Please be prepared to provide the training and dedication that will be needed.

We do not have any way of knowing if a dog or cat will do well with all children or all other animals.

*** This is why it is important that we introduce everyone in the home to the new pet. Please plan to have the whole family come visit.

*** We also require that any family dogs come into meet your potential adoptee. Please be sure your dogs are spayed or neutered and current on vaccines (distemper - parvo and rabies) before bringing them to the shelter.

*** All dogs must be transported home in a travel crate to transport your new pup home safely.


*** Renters must provide a copy of a lease indicating pets are allowed or contact information for the landlord.
