My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Captain This two year old ( 55lbs) retriever blend Gem is one of our southern rescue's favorite!
Found wandering on a country road he came up to a total stranger asking for help. He was very happy to have found a friend and a meal. No one stepped up to claim him so he is in search of a new family.
Shelter staff say Captain is a total love bug. Very submissive to all the dogs he has met but just LOVES his humans. (showed no interest in the cat)

Captain was tested positive for heart worm but will be treated prior to coming to Pa. He has been neutered and vaccinated. He will be an excellent family addition.
Due to the holiday Captain's arrival will be the first week of May. We would love to have a family waiting to meet him when he arrives. HE deserves that!! We are confident once acclimated into a home You will be thrilled you took a chance on him!

crate, leash and house trained~ Good with kids and other dogs and cats
awesome temperament and a cuddle bug fully vetted including rabies and micro chipped.

He will be arriving on May 5, 2019
