My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hey folks. It’s me, Stevie! You’ve seen my face before – sadly, I’ve been around this rescue for far too long now. Seriously, what’s it gonna take to find this guy right here a new forever home? Look at me. I’m absolutely adorable. I mean, how many other cats can rock a red sweater the way I do? Forget other cats. Let’s just talk about me, alright? Besides the fact that I’m cute as a button, I’m only eight years old. I’m past that naughty kitten stage, but still full of energy. I LOVE human attention. I’m not shy – I make friends immediately with everyone I meet. And why not? I’m awesome. I LOVE to follow my peeps around the house so I can keep track of everything that’s going on. I LOVE to be by my mom’s side all the time. I can’t wait for her to sit down so I can lay beside her. I LOVE to sit on the couch cushions behind her and lay my paw on her shoulder. I LOVE head rubs, neck and chin scratches. I LOVE to play! Any toys will do, especially if you have squeaky toys, mice, catnip and strings! You should see me flip that toy mouse around. I LOVE to go for walks. My foster mom has taught me to walk on a leash and I’m getting really good at it. Ok, so I don’t like other cats. No biggie. Lots of cats don’t like other cats. I can be your one and only. More time for us to just hang out together. You said you only wanted one cat anyway, right?

Let’s talk about my past. Truth is, my sister and I were left behind when our owners left us behind when they moved. I know, it sucks, right? Well, lucky for us, some kind neighbours fed us until the rescue could take us in. We went to an adoption centre and my sister was adopted quickly. Because the other cats bugged me too much, it stressed me out a lot. I came back to a foster home to wait for my forever home. But because I’m not in the adoption centre, it’s taking FOREVER for me to find mine!

Don’t get me wrong, I LOVE my foster mom. She’s the best. But, she can’t keep me forever. It’s time for me to move on. So, let’s recap: adorable, cute, energetic, loves attention, outgoing, friendly, playful, lover of scratches, lover of walks (on a leash and supervised, of course), love to be your one and only. What more can I say?

PLEASE apply to meet me today! It’s easy. Just fill out an application form: http://ninthlifecatrescue.org/adopt/adoption-application/ Or send a Facebook message the kind folks at the rescue. They’ll hook us up for a meeting!
