My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet our heartland pups - We have 3 males and 2 females available for adoption. (9.5 weeks as of 4/7). They are very sweet, friendly, happy, out going and energetic puppies. All with their own individual personalities. We think these will be large dogs when full grown - 60+lbs - Mom currently weighs 60 lbs ( she is pictured on our Facebook page) and we don't know who dad is. We are guessing a black and tan coon hound?

Their Story: Their Mama was "owner surrendered" at a shelter in KY just days before she was to give birth. Fortunately, the shelter was able to find a foster and Mama was able to give birth to these pups in a home. We were contacted and asked if we were willing to take the family so we agreed. We know this sounds sad, and how can anyone do this? But we really think everyone is better off for it - we know we will find great homes for the whole family.

These pups are survivors - 4 of the 6 contacted the dreaded parvo virus -the family spent 1.5 weeks at the vets - and all six are now strong, healthy and ready for their forever homes!

The pups have their age appropriate shots, microchipped and have been dewormed twice to date ( 4/7). They are too young to be safely spayed/neutered.

Their adoption fee is $400 plus a $100 deposit that will be returned once they have been spayed/neutered by their adoptive family.

Mama is also available for adoption.

All puppies are cute! But please remember they are also alot of work, especially the first few months.
