Astrid and Fenris need a home!

Astrid (girl) and Fenris (boy) are Norwegian Elkhound mixes. They are brother and sister.

When they were babies, they were weaned from their mom and dropped off in an elderly lady’s yard. She cared for them but kept them outside and had minimal contact and no training. She became ill and surrendered them to a shelter. The current owners rescued them from the shelter.

Astrid and Fenris are young and have lots of energy. The current owners have little experience with Elkhounds. They have found the pair to be a challenge. Astrid and Fenris in typical Elkhound style are escape artists, have lots of energy and get into whatever they can. The family put up a fence but did not know how to install it properly. The pair keeps escaping.

Astrid and Fenris need a home where they can run and work out some of their energy. They are very quick learners. They need a family who will take the time to train them and understand how to take care of young Elkies.

Astrid and Fenris are healthy and up to date on shots. Fenris is neutered. Astrid needs spayed. They are 10 months old. Astrid and Fenris are located northeast of Atlanta. Transport help is available.
