My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Printice. I will be completely honest here... this 7-8 year old is a neurotic, quirky, weirdo that has been waiting for her forever home (without any other cats) for almost 2 years. She has suffered through sharing a room with one other cat for so long now, and is doing fine by ignoring her, but she would much rather have an entire house to roam free with her person. We have been working on her behavior (does not like being held, is afraid of loud noises) and decided there's no point. She's just wired that way. She opens cabinet doors and hides under the sink like Randy in "The Christmas Story". She digs Q-tips out of the drawers to play with. She sleeps on top of your head, and is very demanding when her food and water bowls are empty. Speaking of food, she plucks her food out of her bowl, one kibble at a time and either eats it off the floor.. or plops it into her water bowl. However, if you put a pile of food on the floor for her, she won't touch it. We are talking a Grade A goofball. If you have room for a silly cat that would rather sit next to you than on you, that you can't hold or carry around, that will pet herself if you just hold your hand out, and has no concept of personal space, then THIS IS YOUR GIRL! Oh, and she needs 3 litter boxes with clay scoopable litter only. Spoiled? Maybe. Diva? Possibly. Special? Most definitely! We love her to pieces and are going to make sure she has the best forever home possible because we are not it, as much as we wish we could be. She is fostered in Huntsville, AL, is felv/fiv negative, up to date on vaccines, spayed and microchipped. Please fill out an application at forrescue.net.
