Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Burt came to us on Jan 15th from a kill shelter in North Carolina. We think he is about 10 years old and a Red Tick Coonhound mix weighing about 55 pounds. He was emaciated, had terrible demodex mange (not contagious), was Heartworm positive and has/ had multiple other problems when he came to our rescue. He has now gone through heartworm treatment, has gained much needed weight and his hair has grown back. He was being fostered in a home with a Cockatoo, cats, dogs, and chickens and he loved them all. He loved playing with a Boxer mix named Bunnie at his foster home. He still has one more surgery ahead of him where he will be neutered, his ears cleaned and dental work done on April 10th.
Burt will have all of his surgeries behind him for adoption, but can be fostered until everything is complete.
If you are interested on giving sweet Burt a forever home to live out the rest of his life, please fill out an application at www.itavar.com
