My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Waffles is a special girl who came to us with a very severe tail injury that required amputation. Throughout her recovery she has been nothing but a curious and spunky young lady! Waffles loves playing with her toys - especially balls and her mouse. And when she’s not playing, she loves either perching by the windows enjoying the view or taking cat naps in your lap. Waffles is the perfect balance of being an independent kitty and seeking playtime with you. She shows curiosity in dogs and would be fine with them or other cats with a slow introduction.

Due to her previous pelvic trauma which resulted in her tail amputation, she has some minor sensation deficits in her rear end. She still appropriately uses the litter box to go to the bathroom, but occasionally she has problems knowing when she is done and stool will fall out as she leaves the box. She urinates in the litter box just fine. This has not been a major problem to clean up and Waffles has been improving overtime. She is on Miralax to help soften her stool to help with defecation, and this is easily sprinkled on top of her food which she loves to eat.
Waffles is sweet, friendly, and has a great personality. She could be the perfect addition to your family!

All kitties go to their new homes spayed/neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccinations, and tested negative for FIV/FeLV. The adult cat adoption fee is $60. If you are interested in adopting this cat, please fill out an application here: bit.ly/Cat-Adopt-App.
