You know, some people say that a puppy is the best. You get to train the puppy, they are a blank slate, they come to you with no baggage, they are moldable...blah , blah, blah. For me, I'l take a quiet senior any day!! Anuko is a very sweet guy, perhaps not quite a senior at 4 years old, however he's definitely not a puppy either. Anuko has incredible house manners, he's quiet, snuggly, does not flinch at the vet visits and a real gentleman. Anuko is a tiny boy at about 7 lbs, which makes him just about purse size. He's good with dogs and will tell the puppies off if they overstep. We love this little guy. No Borders Animal Rescue Society (NOBARS)

We are a registered non profit society. All our dogs are vaccinated, sterilized and are fostered in homes with families.

NOBARS believes that a dog is best assessed for a new home environment by living in one!!!! Therefore we do not use kennels, but have a network of approved foster homes where our dogs can be properly assessed before being offered for rehoming. Our foster homes offer a varied range of experiences which means we can choose an appropriate foster home for each dog, but it also means our dogs are able to experience situations which are invaluable to owners looking to take on a new forever friend, such as children, cats and other dogs.
