My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Mama is an American Staffordshire mix, we believe she's also part Hound. She's 50 lbs and about 3 years old.
She was named Mama because she was found as a stray right after she had puppies...but there were no puppies! We think she may have been dumped, but she does know some training.
Her personality and qualities have come out a bit more, as well as her training. She's definitely house trained, she lasted 11 hours once, happily chilling in her foster mom's apartment. She's super polite about food and treats. She plays well with other dogs, but she can be a bit intimidating to smaller dogs, only because she's s much bigger. She also loves the water. She is more active now than she originally was, probably due to her recovering from being pregnant. So she's definitely an active dog, but not high energy. She also gets along with just about anyone. We really think she will transition nicely to a new family. She'll happily love on whoever lets her.
She doesn't bark, her foster mom has only heard her growl once at something outside, but nothing threatening. She's such an easy-going dog!
Mama is currently in Texas, but transport can be arranged to an approved adopter.
